Hi Stacey! I found all the items in your video essay to occur in different locations around your house, like the books, food, games and stuffed animals. I thought this was a very good way to represent home for you because obviously these items are very personal to your life and important to your image of home. Most of your images relate to some form of comfort, like the food and stuffed animals, and even the books and this showed that your image of home is closely related to what makes you comfortable and that home is a place of safety and security for you.
In your essay, all the items you chose are personal to you and describe you as a person, instead of what the typical American home would seem to look like, this I think is shown most in the food you chose. You had a pot of tomatoes and greens, and it looks alot like my dad's guiso so I thought it was nice that you included dishes that are prepared as well as bought items like the oranges. Out of all your images what do you think is the most important item to reflect your image of home?
